Yara was chosen as the student of the month in June!

Yara, our student from Lebanon, came to our school as a complete beginner attended the General English course with the Callan Method for the first six months. She is now studying at B1 intermediate level in our General English course. Yara is a very conscientious student who concentrates well in lessons. Sha has improved greatly and continues to expand her knowledge of English. She is a pleasure to teach! Keep up the good work, Yara, by Sue, our teacher :-) We have interviewed Yara about her experience in London and at ABC School of English. Could you please tell me something about yourself: studies, job, hobbies or dreams?

​​My name is Yara, and I'm from Lebanon. I studied in the university two different fields, Chemistry and Finance. I worked in a laboratory and later in a bank. My hobbies are swimming and traveling. My dream is to have a happy and healthy life.

Why did you decide to come to London?

​I got married in Lebanon and I had to move to London with my husband where he lives.

How do you find life in London?

I'm really enjoying life in London, as I'm learning a new language, culture, exploring new places and making a lot of friends.

Why did you choose ABC school?

​I chose ABC school because it was recommended by my husband's cousin.

Are you enjoying your lessons?

Yes, I'm enjoying my lessons very much. The Callan Method is very friendly and the teachers are lovely, friendly and very helpful.

What are your plans for the future?

To improve my English and work with my husband in Africa.
