Brunch 2
The name “brunch” represents a combination of breakfast and lunch and it is used to describe a meal served from 11 am until 3 pm. Covent Garden is one of the most beautiful places in London to have brunch with friends, especially during the weekend when shops, theatres, bars and restaurants are visited by international visitors and Londoners. In the heart of Covent Garden you can find Balthazar, a French restaurant opens all day long, which offers a brunch menu on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am until 4 pm. Balthazar’s brunch menu to satisfy all palates: from classic French croissants to more refined dishes such as salmon, duck confit and pate’ de champagne; there are also some vegetarian options. French Croissons Five minutes’ walk from Covent Garden station there is another lovely restaurant where you can enjoy American dishes in a modern atmosphere. Christopher’s brunch menu is available every weekend, from 11.30am until 3.30pm. The most famous dishes are the homemade Christopher’s hamburger and the Superfood Brunch options. For those particularly interested in eating healthy, on the brunch menu they can find fresh smoothies, shakes and juices as well, all made with seasonal vegetables and fruits. Shakes Our last recommendation is a foodie’s paradise restaurant called Asia de Cuba. Its brunch options are all Chino-Latino courses and are accurately made by the Cuban chef Luis Pous. Brunches are available every weekend from 12 pm until 4 pm and when Latin meets Asia the menu has a long choice of very exotic multi-coloured dishes: calamari salad with banana and orange-sesame vinaigrette and for the final bites the doughnuts would be a perfect choice!
