Guy Fawkes Day - 5th November

The whole UK lighting bonfires and enjoying fireworks… This is how we celebrate Bonfire Night! Every 5^th of November we remember when —in the 17^th century— a group of Catholics lead by Guy (Guido) Fawkes planned to blow up the Houses of Parliament in London with gunpowder. England was not a Catholic country anymore and protesters were convinced that if they killed King James I and his ministers, they will make Protestantism disappear as well.
