Emre our student of the month!

Emre is attending Callan Method English lessons and is currently at intermediate B1 level. We have interviewed him about his experience in London and at ABC School of English. We have learnt his opinion about the school and the city and we have got to know him better. Thank you for taking the time to do the interview!

• Could you please tell me something about yourself: studies, job, hobbies, and dreams?

I’ve been studying English for about 3 months. I study English for an hour everyday at home. Apart from my English studies, I also study programming language at home in my spare time. Apart from these, I like walking in the park and I like to ride bike in London as well. I use the Callan online application to practice English as much as possible.

• Why did you decide to come to London?

I came to London twice for my summer holiday before moving here. London is a cosmopolitan city, I was really impressed about that. Also has good economy and a lots park as well. And then I just wanted to try.

• How do you find life in London?

Generally you need an umbrella or a raincoat!! But in summer time you can relax in the park or you can enjoy weekend nights in London.

• Why did you choose ABC School?

I took trial lesson from some English courses before starting ABC School. I was interested in the Callan Method. I spoke to Bozena first, ABC School's admin team, she was very friendly and helpful. And then I decided to start the course.

• Are you enjoying your lessons?

I just know teachers Sue and John. They are really good teacher. I like them! I’m really enjoying their lessons. They’re friendly and helpful. I’m happy to study with them.

• What are your plans for the future?

I’m a math teacher, I have worked at the school in Istanbul for 4 years. I want to continue teaching math here in London. Maybe one day I can do again.
