Student of the month interview: Nanae

We have interviewed our lovely student Nanae about her experience in London and at ABC School of English. We have learnt her opinion about the school and the city and we have got to know her better. Thank you for taking the time to do the interview,

• Could you please tell us something about yourself: your studies, work, hobbies and dreams?

I used to work in a construction company as a secretary in japan. I also used to work at a fashion company which bought clothes wholesale from the US to sell in Japan.

• Why did you decide to come to London?

My boyfriend lives here, and we are planning to apply for a partner visa this year.

• How do you find life in London?

Slightly different and stressful compared with living in Japan.

• Why did you choose ABC school?

I was interested in the Callan Method and also it’s cheaper than the General English class.

• What’s your opinion of the Callan Method lessons?

I need to understand something and find out the answer quickly without translating it into my own language, so it’s good as it puts me under more pressure.

• What are your plans for the future?

I aim to work in this country as soon as I get a new visa.
