About Us

At ABC School, we offer a friendly welcome to students from all over the world to our school in Covent Garden.  The school is a small, private, independent establishment, and we are proud to offer you a very personal service in a sociable, relaxed yet professional environment.  

ABC School was opened in 2002, and since then we have successfully taught many thousands of students, and have built a strong reputation for quality of service.  ABC School of English is an "A" rated education provider on the UK Border Agency’s Tier 4 sponsor register. We are also accredited by the British Council and a member of English UK, both of which guarantee quality. 

Although we teach the majority of our courses using the very popular Callan Method, we also have courses using the communicative method of teaching as well as exam classes.  All our teachers are native English speakers, TEFL qualified and educated to degree level. Callan Method teachers are also fully trained to teach using this method.

We understand that coming to London is a very big decision to make, and we do our best to ensure that you feel comfortable whilst studying with us. We offer support in all areas including your progress, accommodation, life in London as well as any other issues you may have.  In addition to studying, we also want you to have fun, and we arrange a variety of social events where you can meet new people, learn about English culture and practise your English outside the classroom.
